It sits at an elevation of around 1,120 meters and is a renowned hot spring village known for its stunning mountain scenery. The area is predominantly inhabited by the Bunun indigenous tribe. Its carbonated sodium bicarbonate hot spring, commonly referred to as the "Beauty Bath," is famous far and wide. The source of the spring is located at the foothills of the Wangxiang Mountain on the eastern side.
